I feel like Backett had been a senseless hypocrite all the time that she doesn't even realize that she is hurting everyone. Seriously even after having a baby she still have shift on Christmas Eve. Hell even if it was her tradition, when you simply had to make be with them on Christmas Eve to show them the magic of Christmas. But she is shit who doesn't understand when she have a family and a son to go to she have got to care more about them than her fucking pride.

I’m rereading all of your Christmas Advent stories because they let me forget this batshit crazy world we live in for just a moment. And, a moment is really all I need when I stumble upon writing this good:

I finally let myself read these chapters so I wouldn't be spoilt and you made me cry! I can barely see to type, sob! A poignant and touching end to the story of James thus far.

In honour of my favourite time of the year (and, okay, in an effort to avoid thinking about the increasing number of Christmas decorations I apparently can't stop buying), I've been doing a tour of my favourite Christmas fics. I've covered Advent and Advent Again in the past handful of days after rereading them last year (and the year before... And the year before...), so I'm obviously the worst at reviewing, but I just wanted to particularly mention: I'm obsessed with all of the ways you've written post-shooting S4. In particular the scenarios where they're something before she's shot, and she still runs away - it speaks really honestly to me in terms of what we know of the show, and what we know of Kate, and you write it, as you did with everything, in such a lovely way.

Anyway. I'm thoroughly enjoying these awesome reads, and am looking forward to the lovely bittersweet feeling of my Silver & Gold reread and the remainder of Wintersong, and just wanted to say thanks. :) I love how you choose to capture all the different facets of the season.
