It kinda hurt to see Olivia being forced out of SVU, but I also think it made perfect sense, the way you built this story, and it ended on such a hopeful note.

Binge read your story, and it was amazing. You plotted it out well, wrote a realistic recovery for Liv, and didn't pander to sentimentality. A bit sad about how things were with Elliot but he did leave her, after all.

Sad to see only one story from you

I was expecting a happy ending, and I suppose, in a way, I got it. I mean, obviously not in the 'and they all lived happily ever after' sense, but in the sense that she made progress. Olivia isn't as damaged as she was. She is making the best of a terrible situation and allowing others to help her. It's not an over the top reaction, it's her making the choice to accept help and grow and be able to continue on when everything has been pulled up in front of her and made her change course.
