I literally just searched through all my old favorited stories to find this sucker based on the random recovered memory of an OC that jumped through time. I HAD to read it again once I remembered how much I loved this fic. Melanie is a fantastic character and I love her mutation and how different it is. It is interesting to see her relationships forming with Coulson, Barton, and the rest when they are still on rocky trust territory with the whole constantly spying on each other biz. I love the idea of this and I really hope you come back to it one day! I would love to see it continued and see how the stories change with Melanie involved. I also would LOVE to see her meet the Avengers and how their interactions would go. Great work on this so far!

10/10 premise, 8/10 execution. Too much hovering around the Helicarrier, though every scene itself is still excellent.

It always sucks as a reader to find a story that's long dead but that still sucks you in super hard, but this was still a really fun read. Thank you for writing it.

This is such a good story! I really hope it is continued! Your character writing is very interesting, and their interactions are so fun to read, especially having both melanie’s side and SHIELD’s side (with all the agents povs!)

I don't know if you are familiar with Worm but there is a character in that series with similar powers compared to your protagonist. Stories like this are fascinating and complex. You are doing an excellent job.

Honestly, I really hate when people lie to me, and as characters-every time they lie, it makes me dislike them a little more :( And I genuinely love Barton on every other day of the week!

I'm doing that now. Shots of water (not like I could get alcohol) every time a character even maybe lies.

I do enjoy this, even if all this psychological manipulation is absolutely hitting all my buttons. I desperately hope Melanie maintains some measure of her independence.

Yes, I will be extremely annoyed if she ends up being Stockholmed into joining, even if I can understand why. More of a personal button than anything against the story, so don't worry, I'm still enjoying it.

I would honestly feel a little offended if Melanie joins SHIELD. I mean, this has been a seriously botched recruitment attempt, especially with what I can infer about her past. I'd have to expect a lot of concessions for Melanie if she would end up accepting.
