Nineteen reviews for such a piece of perfection is such a shame! I mean, just look at the phrases, the picturesque description of everything and the emotional turmoil she went through. The resentment and hope this story presents only made me wish even more badly for "what could have been". If no one has said it enough, you're an amazing writer with a gift for words and scenarios and I loved this story for all the hope and mid winter beauty it stands for.

This is beautiful, and as much as I want it extended, to see the trust begin to regrow between them, I think you ended it well.

I quite liked this fic, excellent work.

I always enjoy your stories, the winter/Christmas ones especially. You have such a way of writing them that is nostalgic and makes me yearn for Christmas (despite being all Christmassed out) that is just lovely. Your modern one with the illutrations was particularly gorgeous and if you could possibly write another modern one for this Christmas I would lovelovelove that. Still, even if you don't this was a very sweet story and I enjoyed reading it.

It's just unfortunate that in the show, they never had Merlin and Morgana scenes/moments right when she returned in the beginning of Season 3. Since Merlin believed that Morgana has genuinely forgiven him, I thought that he was going to be extra nice and friendly to her to atone for his wrongdoings against her. I mean he was all excited and what not after they talked, it's just sad that we didn't see more of them together (and the producers actually cut the scene where Merlin brought her flowers!). I could only imagine what other things he would've done! I think he was beginning to fully accept how much he really cared for her. Oh the possibilities!

That's why this fic is perfect because it helps fill in the gaps of what could've been, or should I say "should've been."
