I've continued reading the story, even with a few weak pieces, but Ch.64 is pushing the limits. There are lots of 'Fanon' and even 'canon' times where APBWD gets away with things outside 'the Law', it seems, but NOT where the DMLE Director is there. And NEITHER of them have the right to ignore a crime having been committed OR the punishment set out for that crime. And both 'Fanon' and canon have several references to parents/guardians needing to be consulted/approve of things - why not in Daphne's case?
