MAN! I have not been able to properly sit and read this chapter and the next one yet but, whew. I feel like my heart was completely ripped out with this one. The build up leading to this moment was perfect and Lauren telling Bane her feelings, ugh. I’m a complete mess right now, haha! Just thank you so much for writing this story and the fact you have kept with it for 7 years. I know things come up and our interests change and everything but please know I am so grateful to see this story getting its proper close(and I can’t wait to see what’s next for these two in the next one!).

SO IVE BINGED THIS WHOLE STORY IN A COUPLE HOURS AND LET ME JUST SAY IT I Your writing style flows so smoothly, it’s incredible. This isn’t a typical hostage/Stockholm syndrome story. I appreciate how you developed the characters and their bond. Bane is one of my favorite Hardy characters, and I love fics about him so much because there’s not a lot of PHYSICAL intimacy possible. It the way you show his affection for Lauren, the subtle and profound ways he cares for her, I’m here for it ALL. I’m also incredibly excited to see where it goes and I’m none too happy about the cliffhanger lol. But I am SO excited to see what you do. Your plot is so well structured and it makes so much sense, and I applaud you on that. Thank you for taking the time out of what I know is probably an incredibly busy life to share this incredible story with us. As a doc writer myself, I know how frustrating it can be to see hard work go unnoticed. So I just wanted to say thank you for what you do. I’m sure you’re an incredible person, and I’m lucky to have had the opportunity to glimpse into your imagination with this story
