The ending was really sad. I had hoped that somehow magically Loki would have been able to stay, but it wasn't possible. Even with the heartbreak I still loved the story.

Uh, I have a problem: Loki didn't die in Thor: The Dark World. He cast an illusion over himself to make it seem like he was dead, but never actually dies. So this story is technically inaccurate. It's still an awesome story, though.

why do i keep doing this to myself?! If i keep reading amazingly tragic pieces of writing about Loki's death like this one my heart will just give out already! This was amazing! I was so happy when Loki was alive and then BAM. Now i'm crying... I dared hope the character death warning was about the pretend death part and i let my guard down... It really is an great piece of writing when it can destroy your emotions! XD Awesome job!

Please write a sequel to this sad yet wonderful one-shot. It would be great to see Loki reincarnated and fall in love with Thor all over again while regaining his memories from his previous life.
