Niiiiice! I can imagine Vegeta being and thinking exactly like in this fic. My favorite is obviously his thoughts on/about Bulma from the very beginning of their first encounter to their first (sexy)time. Him going to where his planet used to be is hella sad tho.:(

Oh my gosh, Pic. So, FINALLY I am getting back to reading and catching up on everything I have been missing and naturally, I come to one of your one-shots and am floored. As usual!
Everything about this was intriguing. There is something about the way you do first-person present tense that makes me just cackle with glee. I have not seen many authors pin this person/tense down well, but you pull it off with fluidity and wit. Vegeta's POV in particular is quite gritty, intense and so very in-character in this piece.
The first scene is just so raw, and you finish it on the same note. Yet in that last scene I sense the hope that we all look to in B/V's relationship. Oh my. Bravo! I absolutely loved this.
Now on to the fairytale fic... and I'm sure I will find the same grace and wit! :D

Spectacular, as usual, Pic! I love your little snippets, but they always leave me yearning for more! I especially liked the juxtaposition between the first snippet where he's bedding a whore and turns her around so he doesn't have to see her face and when he's with Bulma, the way he looks at her the whole time. It's really poignant.

I really enjoyed Vegeta pretending the whore was a Saiyan and his yearning for his home planet. It was beautiful to read. You really put words together wonderfully and it was a poetic one shot. :-) Oh and of course I loved the ending! ;-)
