madnessdownunder2 chapter 3 . 9/30/2016 Heheheheheheheheheheee! Very nice! I look forward to what you do next. |
Guest chapter 1 . 7/19/2014 Brilliant. Now can you mention that 99.9% of fem!Bilbos are Mary Sues in Disguise? Pretty please. Because I abhor the trend and I wish to see it die. |
LavenderCrystalOfRoses chapter 3 . 7/18/2014 Yay! You updated! Great chapter! |
NTSFroes chapter 3 . 7/18/2014 Pity they hate the movie so much. I mean, it wasn't THAT terrible, was it? I mean, once you come to terms with these and those crazy Peter Jackson nonsense, it wasn't nearly as ridiculous as it could be, and you hardly notice it is over/wish they didn't cut it so soon when it's over, so... Oh, well, I mean: it is a three hours long movie and not tiresome at all. And Middle Earth is always amazing even when it is not even remotely middle-earthly. So I at least cut it some slack for the... great-public angering differences. I don't know if you've read and then watched Percy Jackson, but if you have, you know this could have gone faaaar worse. I'm defending the movie because otherwise I'd be an hypocrite - I only read the books because of Peter Jackson's gorgeous adaptation of LotR and the dude deserves some level of fan loyalty, if admittedly a lot less than Professor Tolkien. Not that the fic is not great and hilarious - it is - and movie-based Mary Sues don't give us all stomach ache -they do. Just... Getting defensive here. Sorry. |
Mirlasse chapter 3 . 7/18/2014 This is great! Seriously! I love how the dwarves laugh at "Fili"and "Kili". Some of this is like my unpublished story about how I am having a normal day and I see random people who look and act suspiciously like characters from The Silmarillion, Hobbit, and LOTR. Including watching DOS in a movie theater and hearing what sounds like Balin and Bilbo commenting from behind me. Maybe this'll actually inspire me to finish the first chapter and start publishing it. |
LavenderCrystalOfRoses chapter 1 . 7/11/2014 Feedback: I imagine a certain someone would be happy to find out he doesn't fall into mirkwood river... |
LavenderCrystalOfRoses chapter 2 . 7/8/2014 Keep going! I like this a lot! |
onimiyuu chapter 1 . 7/2/2014 thank you :D. I'm really enjoying this fic and I'm hoping that you'll continue the story (no, no, this is not a request. only a small reminder, hehe XD)... |
TheBigOne chapter 2 . 4/14/2014 I'm sorry you abandon it but due to that I am not going to check up on this story anymore. |
Kyle chapter 2 . 3/29/2014 I definitely agree with Balin on that one about Erebor. Why is the word *definitely* so damn hard to spell? I can spell even harder words then that but that one I always put out too many E's and forget it uses I instead. |
Kyle chapter 2 . 3/21/2014 Oh and one last thing! Why is it that only WOMEN are allowed to go to other worlds? To me that is being very sexist and I demand full justice to men wishing to go to! I am thankfully VERY GLAD that ME is taking their border situation very seriously unlike the USA/Mexico borders which Congress treats like a joke and even the British Parliament is not taking their crossings seriously in which many cases people who have wanted felons can walk right in by being arrested once but the police constables don't escort them onto the ferry to make sure the illegal doesn't come back. Can you guess what the illegal does in the UK especially if he or she is a wanted felon somewhere in Europe and is desperate to escape the law? |
Kyle chapter 2 . 3/21/2014 Normally I don't like OOC fics but this is actually funny in a non naughty way in which there is an actual story to this. Most Anti Mary Sue Fics are actually just as bad as the sue fics they claim. By the way. Did you know The Hobbit (book) actually came out in September 1937 right before WW2? I found it in a news archive article from that time period 1938-39 to see what America was like and saw an article about a book review club and they were talking about the newly released book called The Hobbit and people loved reading it! The article explained how the book was only slightly over a year old! America in my opinion was a much better place and racism was not at all like you were taught or rather indoctrinated in schools. There were some pretty nasty people around but most of the time blacks often did stirred things up and even attacked each other when coming on a major disagreement! WW2 is when the media started riling people up to earn ratings over every little issue or otherwise it would have to be a pretty fucking big event to make the news hype. It seems with each generation people are becoming more and more hypocrites where in the old days it was common for manners like please and thank you or holding the door open for an elderly etc Now a days unless you're lucky like I am and live in a small town or even smaller sized city you are more likely to get the finger if you so much as glance at someone the wrong way and they decide to not like you for whatever imagination is going on in their minds. It's morally and in many cases even spiritually damaging to be that way. We are a train path to destruction and if this is the great awakening I don't like it one bit and someone needs to apply the emergency air brakes!. *Bangs on the portal to ME* GET ME OUT OF HERE! OPEN UP IN THE NAME OF THE LAW! (Prepares to bring a Lorry (Goods Truck) stocked with solar panels to teach about the electrical current to The Hobbits so they can have many wonderful devices that do a majority of the work for them so they can enjoy more free time at home. I am not sure if this will show up but here is a link to what the first generation of fridges look like and I actually like the looks of them then today's ugly steel fridges. itm/like/371026607540?lpid82 You can actually buy this decal to hang on you're own fridge! Domestic Electric Co from 43 Warren Street New York. No home is modern without Frigidaire! |
Kyle chapter 1 . 3/21/2014 I've always wondered what ME would look like into the 4th Age if clean energy technologies were developed using Tesla type devices. Look him up if you've never heard of him as there is lots of plausible controversy and very interesting knowledge about his devices which were covered up by the media of those days. In my experience however I've often noted that *debunkers* often are so hate filled they become more evil then the stupid conspiracy theorists they claim to oppose. Somebody will innocently claim something and long after the OP is gone people will try to hash it out and make themselves look like hypocrites regardless of the topic. In fact in the Lord of The Rings community I have notice a lot of *elite* people are very closed minded to alternate views or even discussion and will claim it's *Vulgar* without anything to back it up. |
The Willow Maiden chapter 2 . 2/22/2014 I really want to guess, but I have no clue. Please update soon, this is so funny. I can't wait to see what comes next. I completely agree with the characters opinions, except when they argue, but then I can see all sides. You're doing an amazing job. -Willow |
The Willow Maiden chapter 1 . 2/22/2014 You know how to get to Middle Earth? Don't worry, I won't ask. D This is fantastic! And absolutely hilarious. I can understand why Thranduil and Legolas would have a restraining order. It is necessary. *Sigh* I shall move on to the next chapter. -Willow D |
