Ahh! This was the cutest thing, you write de fluff extremely well! Don't know what you were talking about the whole thrown together thing, yes, blowing up the word count can be great but you got the sweetness across without 200 paragraphs which I think is just fine.

That was kind of cool. Poor Soul's birthday was all kinds of horrible but well Maka's went much better. Also the reappearance of !Baker!Soul was nice.

...Also I know it was a throwaway line but is anybody else wondering about the criminal element that lurk in the city owned and run by DEATH himself and where half the jobs are probably given to people who learned how to transform their bodies into living soul devouring weapons and the other half learned to wield living soul devouring weapons? The Criminals must be tough.

So, as absofuckinlutely adorable as this was, you have just made me so hungry because oh god oyakodon and tonkatsu and I want that in my belly right now. And I bet the two would go together splendidly, because oyakodon is delicious on its own, and then tonkatsu is pork so it's not a really intrusive flavor that would get in the way of anything and just ughhh feed me. I might have to make some once I'm home for the summer...
