The whole part with Donna was heartbreaking yet beautiful, and the proposal was just perfect!

I like this story. I love Martha and Mickey and was so pleased that they got together. I really like your backstory of their relationship. I'm glad you took the time to explain how they got to where they were, even if it ended up being longer than you expected, it just makes me connect more with the characters.

I also really like the idea that Vicky's Shaun was Donna's future husband. It really ties things together, like somehow, even after all that time, the universe is still sort of bringing the Doctor and Donna together. (In a vague sort of way but that's how I'm choosing to think of it.)

Both Martha and Donna were two of my favorite companions, and it was wonderful to see some of them again. Especially Martha - I have a lot in common with her, and she also struck me as unique among the companions because she ultimately forged her own path instead of having it made for or forced upon her. It was nice to get some backstory to her and Mickey, too; that pairing is perfect. A wonderful mix of common sense, stubbornness, brilliance, and loyalty. That one thing Martha said, about the Doctor maybe not showing up to their different jobs so that they could get work off the ground, was touching. It really is something he'd do - maybe with additional selfish motives, but it really would be something he'd do.

Haha, that was kind of adorable.

That was very sweet. If it's not exactly how it happened, it's how it should have happened.

I think that the background on Martha and Mickey's relationship was necessary. We didn't get to see it on the show. ;) Definitely believable and very sweet. I could see Mickey not getting on that well with Annalise.

"Getting on" - look at me, I'm adopting British phrasing. That's what this show has partially done to me. :P

Clever having the guy that her friend was in love with be Shaun. Great way to connect everybody. It was almost inevitable really that Martha and Mickey were going to run into Donna. I had a feeling that nothing would happen. She didn't really know Martha that well as opposed to the Doctor. That was a sweet scene with Mickey and Martha with Wilf. Donna really did lose a lot more than just the Doctor.

Minnie the Menace was funny. The 'Mickey and Minnie' joke was something I knew had to be coming. Such a sweet proposal. He's not an idiot (nice reference to 'Mickey the idiot' by the way). Oh! And I loved how you had them hear the TARDIS' departure.

"Never ignore a coincidence... unless you're busy..." - Glad you weren't too busy to ignore this coincidence. We got this great story out of it. Brilliant job! :)
