Reviews for The Room: A Novelization
C. Pariah chapter 9 . 7/16/2019
Donahue's name is a reference to the author Emma Donoghue who wrote a novel called "Room".

Am I correct?
Steven Hildreth Jr chapter 25 . 5/25/2019
I'm gonna need to sit down and actually read this from front to back...but jumping between critical scenes, I have been sitting here and laughing my ass off for the past hour. This is amazing.
CalvinHobbesGatsby chapter 25 . 5/15/2018
This was a wonderful novelization, good job
SirenLuna chapter 19 . 9/1/2017
I'm really enjoying your novelization so far. I like the added messed up moments we don't see in the movie like Dennis pulling a Silence of the Lamba and Peter being an Alien. As for the narrator interlude. I think the point is if Lisa is so unhappy with St Jonny she should be honest and cut the cord. Not be a greedy, cheating twenty-something. It's also a tribute to how women are never satisfyed. Lisa gets herself a loving devoted guy who would give her the moon if he could and she wants his douche-bag friend instead. Nice guys finish last and what not. Anyway! I'm looking forward to the rest of the story!
GettingBetter chapter 25 . 8/11/2017
How did you even manage this? I am seriously impressed dude
An Enemy Spy chapter 25 . 6/17/2015
Wow, that was brilliant. I about pissed myself with laughter at the Peter section. One of the funniest things I've read in a long time.
An Enemy Spy chapter 1 . 6/16/2015
Do you get the feeling that Tommy Wiseau wasn't familiar with the word fiance, so he just went with 'future husband'?
Guest chapter 8 . 11/19/2014
Claudette is by far my favorite character so far.
Hakeber.N chapter 25 . 11/10/2014
Oh. My. God.

It just isn't *fair.*

No, I really mean it. It isn't fair that you have such unsurpassable skill as a writer. That you were able to take Tommy Wiseau's The fucking Room, the worst movie in existence, and make it into...this.

The Room is unfunny; your novelization is funny. Both when delivering the original's attempt at humor, and in your own concocted wit. The room is unsexy; your novelization is, at times, quite the opposite. (And I appreciate that you knew to keep the Johnny-centered scenes rather short. Thank you so much for that.) The Room is banal; your novelization teems with twists and turns of plot that left me spellbound until the final word.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. This story was everything I hoped a novelization of The Room would be, and more. Kudos. 3
Abiit Daemon chapter 25 . 9/20/2014
The fact that you would go through all the trouble to translate the entire movie into a surprisingly well-written novelization is inspiring.
ThePizzadude93 chapter 25 . 9/5/2014
Wow. I am just really impressed. The way you wrote it with such detail, its just amazing. I'll bet Tommy Wiseau himself might like this.
Although, I think you should change the title to "Tommy Wiseau's The Room: A Movie Novelization." But, that's just my opinion. Anyway, keep up the good work and write more fanfics as you can. I'd like to see you do more novelizations. Perhaps of other movies, or video games, or anime.
Madame Boss chapter 25 . 7/27/2014
...this was actually fucking good!
wildmushrooms chapter 2 . 5/21/2014
Wow, I can't imagine how many times you must have watched the movie in order to write this.
Quite the feat buddy.
Quite the feat.
Donunttakemeserious chapter 25 . 4/2/2014
Ahahahaha what a story.
Killbot4000 chapter 25 . 12/18/2013
This is a huge effort on your part to turn The Room into a novel and you did a really good job with it. This must have taken you so long to write but well done with it!
