This is so good! Truly! I'm sad I did'nt find this fic earlier, because I've been a Pope fan from the beginning.
I think the reason why there isn't so many fics about him is that he is hard to write, or at least, mature.

I'm only on the second chapter so I don't know if I will like this or not. Popes family was something I really want Falling Skies to explore in season 4 so even if they don't I have this. Also I really admire a fan-fic author who doesn't constantly drop all there stories.

Ok seriously Ch. 11 has been by far my favorite. I got a bit dulled in the middle there and was kind of bored at Lea's character. You'd think pope would have married someone with a little fight in her? I understand she had been through a lot, but I think it would have been much more intense and interesting to give Lea some spunk and not make her so timid. Exes arguing can be quite entertaining, so for those two to go at it and see someone else take down john pope a notch would have been hilarious. I did appreciate how his character stayed mostly consistent throughout this whole family drama even seeing him breakdown seemed realistic. My favorite part? Killing off the wife. Great way to do it and awesome picture of pope. it was a good shocking but needed climax in the story.
