This is so sweet! I loved the line where Julie says that the answer will most likely be yes, as another way of saying she'll do more or less anything for her. You've painted such a vivid, believable picture of these two women and their relationship, you've made me fall in love with them all over again. Absolutely stunning.

Beautiful, beautiful piece. Your writing has really matured and improved over the last few months. This is so gentle, sweet and lovely. A great behind the scenes piece about what they are like at home, Gill's natural worries about Sammy growing up and leaving home and her evolving relationship with Julie. Well constructed, beautifully written and very in keeping with the characters. Can't wait to read more from you! :)
