He survives without Merlin even if he would've have died tens of times without Merlin's help since he arrived. Isn't that why Merlin stayed by his side? Held me in suspense when after a year and a half into Arthur's reign Merlin had not put in an appearance...but then he came and everything would be all right. Loved how the story revolved around one phrase which had Arthur second guessing not only himself but their love. |
