I like the plot except for the lack of force strength, like when the bomb went off and no one could sense the danger or when Leia, an inexperienced Jedi, can suddenly hold her own against Anakin. Just a thought

Ummm... Strange sleeping situations for the engaged couple. Can't understand the logic of them not sharing the room ...

Great chapter. I know I have not done a lot of reviews of your fanfics but I have to say reading them tells me immediately you did your Star Wars research. Please tell me if they're planning to call the baby Shmi, I would really love to know. If the answer is in a chapter somewhere please tell me.

I really liked this fic and the previous one. I've spent the last three days reading them till the end. I'm sad to see the end an hope you post a third installment or do a series of one-offs in the same universe. I really like the plots, this one as well with some political intrigue, action and family bonding. You do well with the weaving it all together, but I have noticed some little writing errors, but mostly overlooked them since they don't detract from the story. If you don't have a beta reader, I suggest you get one, a beta can catch them for you quite easily and all you'd need is to focus on is writing.

I do enjoy your description of family dynamics and like how you portray a post Vader Anakin and Padme and how they interact with the twins and Han. I do have to ask, where are the droids, or Chewie, or Lando? And is Sabe living with Anakin/Padme? In your previous fic, you mentioned that Sabe lived on Naboo and had a family. Did she uproot everything to serve Padme once again? What about Dorme, Padme's handmaiden from her senator days? And what about Padme's family, her parents, sister(Sola) and nieces Ryoo and Pooja? I know from wookieepedia that Pooja became a senator for Naboo and that she and Leia were friends, not knowing that they were cousins, as they worked together in the imperial senate.

I really liked your inclusion of Mara Jade in here. She provided a sense of a red haring for the real villain and potentially set up something for future stories weather you want to pair her with Luke or not. Personally, I would like to see you pair her and Luke together but I understand your reasons. I also haven't read any of the EU books that feature her but I've read about her on wookieepedia and she is one EU character that intrigues me the most and from what I've read, I do find something rather attractive of their pairing that speaks to me. Which is why when I include her in some of my writing, I tend to mold the pairing from the basic premise and into something of my very own. So if you decided to continue on in this universe and include her or pair her with Luke in some way, it is possible to mold the pairing into any way you choose t. This is fanfiction after all and it is your plot/story. As a fellow writer, I can see some potential for both conflict and redemption and passion should Luke continue to work with Mara Jade and they form some kind of relationship. Perhaps your next installment could have Mara Jade having to depend on Luke's help and their mutual survival depends on how well they work together. Weather or not you pair them romantically, Luke could see her being perfect potential for joining the Jedi ranks as he tries to rebuild the Jedi order. I assume that you like the character of Mara Jade even if you don't ship Luke/Mara, why else would you have pulled her into your universe.

Nevertheless, I would be interested in however you would choose to continue this story.

I find it difficult to believe that Mara would screw up an assassination. Either the Force messed up her focus or this was deliberate as part of some weird attempt to 'flush out' the Skywalkers in some way.

I love how you have Leia as a Jedi in this fic. It was amazing!

Great story! Finally got around to finishing it. The last few chapters were a bit rushed, but good nonetheless.
