The frost giants, ice slows things down and because Loki is actually a frost giant they know his physiology better then anyone, in theory the frost giants could save him and they were alive when the dark elves were still around they probably have the information to save him and not to mention ice can be made to heal, it can also slow down the poisoned blood cells, there actually is a way to save Loki and he doesn’t need to die

This story kicked my ass bloody. I almost couldn't read it because the. TEARS. Been a long time since i cried over a fanfic and I'm so glad you're one that triggered the damn glands. XD Sure, it hammered/shredded/scorched/chewed and spit out my poor widdle heartbut that stupid (beautiful) TRAGIC ending. So worth this catharsis. :')

Wow. Just wow. I have never cried while reading a fan fiction. This is utterly spectacular! I originally read the story on AO3. When I read that there was an alternate ending on this site I just had to read it! While both have great endings and it was interesting to read the different outcomes, this one is my favorite! The brothers being able to say goodbye and the opening ending with Jane is just perfect! I love that you didn't write the complete ending to Thor and Loki's last conversation; that moment was for them. I guess all that's left to say is, well done LadyCharity! Well done! :)
