Reached Chapter 18's end and scrolled up to the heart breaking Updated: Jul 5, 2015. It's disappointing that there will most likely be no more updates. I very much enjoyed Jayden as a character she was both badass and relatable.

Her internal struggle of whether she could and should kill is so captivating. Part of you is reading thinking "Just kill the guy!" but then a moment passes where it's sobering of ending a life. Being the reason something completely stops existing. Especially now that any form of faith that she had has been shaken. Love it. Because there's quite a few 21st Century girls that may get tossed back and are suddenly expert assassin's. Kill this guy, eliminate that target, etc. Maybe if they were in a feild of having experienced taking a life (military, cop, etc) but a regular person it's just hard to think they'd jump in head first.

Jayden and Conner... Don't know what about the two characters makes you want to see them as a couple. The small moments of sexual tenstion and their care for one another without having entered the realm of "oh shit I like that person" has been so awesome. Slow burn to a T. Perhaps for me at least it's the fact that Jayden is always trying to lighten the mood and have fun while Conner is always so serious and on point. Both take it a smidge too far so it seems like they could balance each other out.

I truly hope that maybe somewhere out there the author is still connected and still sees the amount of people who loved this story. Even if they do not continue or finish it.

Sucks that we'll probably never get another update to this amazing story.

Also guess this should be a lesson for Jaden. As her hesitating nature and forgiveness will be used against her.

P.S: Would've been awesome to see Aveline in the future.
