Thank you for sharing this story! I very much enjoyed reading it. I have to admit, I have a thing for fics where John and Sherlock already know each other while John is in Afghanistan. I guess it's because I'm headed over there myself, so I can relate. Anyway, great job!

I really love this story, the whole Afganistan idea is really cool, and Sally was done really well! I love Sherlock's response to stuff, and the ending is great, especially with Lestrade.
If you were to do a prequel, I think that would be really good. Start with when they meet, in my opinion, then go on from there. Obviously John can't go to the crime scenes so your have to work something out but I think it'll be really good. Well done, it was a great story and I hope you write a prequel!
