This was a really nice fanfiction. Deek and Kensi showed their thoughts and abilities that would follow them into adulthood. Deeks has a sort of innate friendliness and a non-threatening demeanor especially when it comes to Kensi. I've read a lot of fanfiction, but this was excellent Hazel. Thank you.

A different take on how Kensi left her mother and got to her father. Love it.

I didn't realize that young Kensi had walls. I thought they built up later in her life, but OK it's your story and I look forward to the next chapter.

Interesting take on 'Frozen Lake' when spoken by two teenagers.

This version of Deeks shooting his father and the aftermath is quite a bit different from what we have read in the past and it's much nicer. Let's see what the next chapter brings.
