Hey, please update! This is my favorite simmonsward fanfic and its been a while! Hope everything is okay, much love.

I'm really enjoying this! I'm interested in seeing exactly why Ward doesn't feel sorry for anything, because I'm getting the feeling maybe Jemma didn't wait up long enough, or maybe something or someone else had a hand in the miscommunication. I'm enjoying the tagteam practice, and of course Jemma and Ward were paired together, haha. Love how he pushed her in figuring it was the easiest way to help her get into things. It would be nice if at some point he figures out that she's more upset with his help than without it because she feels inadequate. C'mon Ward, figure out that piece of Jemma Simmons! Maybe once they reach another point where she's more useful than him she'll feel better.

Loved that line of hers earlier in the chapter, about getting her clothes off. Now they both know they remember! Yay! Step one complete

I can't believe that Grant pushed her down into all the muck! What a jerk! Seriously? Is that his version of pigtail pulling? He likes her, so he's gonna do whatever, no matter how idiotic to get her attention? What a dork!

I love how Jemma inadvertently gives it away that she remembers Grant, and how he's not entirely sure how to proceed from there.

I'm super curious to see how they develop from here, now that they've admitted to remembering one another. I also can't wait to find out why Grant never showed up that day, and to see how he gets back in Jemma's good graces after standing her up.

Looooove Jemma and Ward!

Oooh, I can't wait to see what the mission/teambuilding exercise will be! I'm really enjoying the Simmons/Ward ship and your story is the best of those I've read. My only suggestion would be to make Fitz's voice more distinct from Jemma - I can see some differences, like Ward's swearing, but both of them are constantly vacillating between attracted to the other and annoyed and I've sometimes gotten confused about which POV I'm reading. Also, does Ward not remember that he told her to to him at the bar the following day?

I like the pace of this story, and how you've managed to weave in scenes/quotes from the actual episodes. Keeps everything in the realm of believable (or as believable as a show like SHIELD can be...).

I'm looking forward to finding out what the connection is between Coulson and Simmons is, as well as what kept Ward from rendezvousing with Jemma that night in New York!
