Oh my God. This is, like, literally the only story I follow religiously. I love it. And this chapter was so long and awesome. And I know part two will be just as stellar. (Can't wait for you to get to Halo 3 though. It had one of the best stories.) Oh, and your little cover art thingy for this is awesome. I really, really is.

I would say this is one of the best novelizations of the first halo game, I should know, I've read pretty much all of them.

Also i think you were smart for sticking to Cortana's point of view since Chief's character is a little difficult to pinpoint.

Very few spelling mistakes that i could pick up and grammar was next to flawless. All in all very good story and i am looking forward to part 2. :)

I'm not sure I've reviewed every chapter, but most of them definitely. 'Food nipples'?. I know grunts are strange little buggers but really? It put a smile on my face. Hope to see part 2 soon :)

It is quite sad that chief actually knows he's human but denies it at every turn. But that is what Cortana is for :). lovely chapter. Can't wait for more.

Yay you're back! Loved the chapter although there are a few spelling and grammar mistakes. I can also see how this chapter does not agree with the other ones you have written, but I trust that you have a reason for this and will be retconing the previous chapters like you said. Also, if the Master Chief gets a farm with Cortana, won't that make him Farmer John?
Sorry that you had such a tough time with writer's block. You've improved a lot since you started writing and I would hate to see you quit.

Loved it. Just played this part of the game a few months ago and this was excellent. Glad you got over your writer's block. I've gotten to the last chapter of stories before and not been able to finish them for weeks. Can't wait for chapter 12.

Patiently waiting for the real chapter 11. Sure it'll be great. Just in case you need a little encouragement, this is still the best fanfiction in the Halo fandom. In my personal opinion at least. Hope that counts for something.
