Such a great emotion-filled chapter! I love the touch about the notebook having the little heart with his name!

I understand how confined she felt because he basically did keep her a prisoner with just him, the guards, staff, and Christian for years.

But for her to run off on a trip like that without any protection, that was childish and reckless on her part. She had to understand what was at stake. I wouldn't let my teen run off to another country for months without anyone going with her. She had zero real world experience. She's been too protected and kept away from everything. Her socialization is much less than people her own age and that's why she acts so childish and reckless sometimes.

I get that it's just a story but in real life what she wanted to do was very dangerous.

So, they aren't going to meet Lissa? I figured Rose would make contact with her at the very least.

I guess I missed it but why is she friends with Christian? Is he the child of a staff person? Someone she was friends with before her mom was murdered? Why does he live in her house?

aaaaaa this might be one of my favorite of your stories! I love it so much! I love traveling and I’m a photographer too, so I found it very amusing that was the lie Dimitri chose! Haha
