Oh wow that was so beautiful. So sad and sweet. Absolutely perfect. I've had the ending scene in my head for a while and I needed someone to write it out for me. You did that brilliantly.

Oh Donna :( My favorite companion, with her attitude and sass and heart of gold. I cried when she lost all her memories of the Doctor and all the things they had done together. That has to be the cruelest fate of any companion by far. At least Rose and Martha and Amy and Rory still carry the Doctor with them, have been changed by him mostly for the better, but poor Donna had to go back to square one! I'm glad you wrote this because I'll keep this story as my personal canon and pretend that, in the end at least, she got to have all those memories back for one shining, glorious moment.

Oh my god, you are literally the worst ever. You should just stop writing, because I don't think that I'd be able to handle anymore brilliant stories of yours. Ugh, I hate you.

(I really hope that it's obvious, but in case it isn't obvious, you are actually not "the worst ever", you're heartbreakingly good - as in "ow, my poor heart, why must you do this to me?" - and I don't hate you. Actually, I think you're pretty darn swell, at least when you're not giving me Donna feels.)
