I believe I still "owe" you a comment on this one. That's what happens when I have to read something offline...I forget to leave feedback.

Now, this is quite a bit different from most of your other stuff, because it's very AU with Tony being a SEAL and Gibbs being...sort of a therapist here, but I think you still kept them in character. Yes, I know Gibbs isn't known to talk that much, but the part when Tony finally starts talking but doesn't want to tell Gibbs everything he wants to know? Oh yeah, that reaction is soooo Gibbs. And it's very Tony to not talk about the very important things, so I feel it fits very nicely.

As for the story itself - I love angsty stuff and don't mind slightly dark stories either, so this is very much up my alley. Hurt!Tony with a caring Gibbs around? Yep, makes me a very happy reader - so you succeeded big time. And then the prospect of them getting together? As Tony stated - they'll be perfect. :)

OMG, poor Tony has been through hell; watching his friends being tortured in front of him and killed. Then he has Gibbs come into his life and make him relive it all. Glad those two men are starting a relationship. Fantastic story, heartbreaking.

Wow! Most excellent job on this, any chace we will get a sequel to see how they are getting along in the future?
