Why is everyone being so mean to Spock?

I'm definitely still interested in this story! Please keep updating it, it's amazing! :)

I'm usually not much for AU stories, but this one is great! Creative, humorous, and very entertaining.

Most of the characters are spot on. Uhura seems a bit harsh now, but I expect that will change eventually.

The suggestions I am compelled to make (though I am sure they only hinder your existing plot and ideas):
- Scotty, the guy who comes in to fix a broken coffee machine and ends up getting hired as a maintenance worker for repairs and whatnot.
- Sulu, the guy who needs money for college, where he's studying to be a botanist.
- Chekov, the local teenager looking for quick cash and a beginner's job.
- Nero, the scary dude who threatens to take revenge on Starfleet for demolishing the building where his business once stood (to make room for the existing coffee shop). Somehow Spock is mixed up with Nero's past, and he sets his sights on the Vulcan...
- Khan, another scary guy who once had a coffee empire (the "Superior" coffee shop down the street) that went out of business, and he swears to take revenge on Starfleet, too. Maybe Kirk dies (or at least goes unconscious) in the freezer and Bones revives him.
- A band of raucous Klingons that have to be forcibly ejected from the shop – and they aren't too happy about it.
- An inspection from the Admiralty is sabotaged...by one of the crew! Gaila is fired, but she didn't do it. Who dunnit?
- a necessary tribble invasion.

(...because this story is really fun, that's why.)

I was quite surprised to read a new chapter after all this time. I'm still finding it interesting, although I'm not sure I like your version of Uhura.

Concerning the freezer door...in the sequel will khan be a rival coffee beys ins man and somehow that leads Jim to go into the freezer with the door shut and Spock on the other side while Jim supposedly saved the shop via weird contraption in the freezer?

Will bones find out how to bring Jim back from hypothermia by khans secret coffee brew called augment which Jim has to drink in order to come back to life? Will carol still find an excuse to be in her underwear? Will tribbles be seen? Will they?!

What if old Spock comes by and mind melds with him and sees himself as the captain of coffee throughout the universe...to boldly brew what no man has brewed before...

Very funny! And interesting. Are you making Spock 100% Vulcan or both human and Vulcan? I just got a little mixed up with Jim's talk with Galia.

I like this story, and I don't even drink coffee. Cappuccino, maybe. Or hot chocolate - but keep that away from Spock. :P

I started this read without knowing what to think, now I find myself wanting to read more and saddened that there was in fact no more to read lol

So...is this the 2009 movie version of events...through coffee? Will Nero show up crashing his car into a Vulcan parade float? Will Old Spock make an appearance and ask for Jim's favorite flavor from the TOS universe during a blizzard? Will Scott invent Transwarp drive thru? Will the jellyfish that old Spock used turn up as a muscle car or a mustang? With a jelly fish symbol? Will Old Spock mind meld with Jim and tell him his destiny to captain of that place and make coffee no man has done before? Will Keenser have a place in the coffee shop too? Will they have to jettison warp cores to save the Enterprise from the singularity known as Nero and his huge Narada parade float? And the mini sinkhole they might happen to be in? Will Vulcan be that sinkhole?

Will Admiral Marcus be the evil overlord of Starfleet coffee? Will he find the cryogenic tube of Khan and use his super human abilities to...make awesome coffee to use against the Klingons? Will khan crash the hummer called U.S.S. Vengance into a San Francisco water fountain and Spock still beats him up? Will Jim go into the hot water room under the coffee shop that happens to be run by a warp core and still sacrifice himself cause somehow the shop uses it for shields? Is the another coffee shop called Kronos or Qo'nos where they have to get the fugitive Khan and get beat up by Klingons? Will Spock get reassigned to another coffee shop due to Jim failed attempts at setting up a peaceful first contact of coffee in the Nibiru neighborhood...and Spock got stuck in a replica Volcano ...then come right back after Khan gives crappy cups of exploding coffee to the conference room? Will Carol sneak into the Enterprise coffee shop saying and showing 'transfer orders' to Jim? Will Admiral Marcus give Jim experimental, never tested, untraceable 72 'torpedoes' for test distribution to the Kronos coffee shop? Will Khan 'super coffee' be use to revive a dead tribble and therefore revive Jim?

I hope that isn't to over whelming...hope you have Spock, Jim and Bones bickering too! Those three are THE triumvirate...
