I loved this story, with the interactions between Fleur and Andromeda, Fleur and the elder Mrs Tonks, Fleur and the Weasleys, Fleur and her husband. This is one of the most lovingly written stories about Fleur (not that I've read many) that I've come across.

I feel for Fleur, who is twitted by the elderly ladies about being French, about her morals. So much prejudice. It can't be easy for her or for that matter, a Muggle spouse or a Wizard or Witch. Stepping into a foreign culture, confronting so many prejudices. The Creeveys are particularly brave. We don't really meet the Grangers and Arthur Weasley is at his clueless, condescending best, interrogating the Grangers instead of tactfully asking them questions about their involuntary year away.

Grief is very personal, and hits everyone differently. (I'm still grieving my mother who died nearly five years ago. I couldn't cry for her then, and have not. She was finally free from pain). That's the point of the Muggle support group. That, I hope, is what the Wizarding support group at Hogwarts will find.

Thank you for a beautiful, sensitive story. I never thought much about Fleur but I like her (post THBP Book Six) much more than Ginny. Ginny is brave but prejudiced like her mother (Molly's Howlers to poor Hermione). Fleur overcomes her prejudices in the series, and in this story.

I love this story, it has a lot of emotions ...i love fleur more than ever...thanks for this wonderful story, you catch all The pain of The dar, it was so real that all that i can say is you are amazing , please write more about them..specially about fleur and bill ,i love them.

I must say, quite the emotional story but so recognizable.
I started reading the HP books in 2005 after seeing movies 1& 2 on TV. I borrowed the Dutch versions from my neighbour’s eldest girl but it did not click. So I set out to buy the adult version books...well, the parts that were published by then. I found the fanfics in 2006 and I have to say:HP & fanfiction saved my life. It gave me the distraction I needed so badly after my father fell ill with cancer. I was sticking to the happy Harry/Ginny stories and the amazing hgfan1111 (no longer published & since all removed) wrote some awesome fun romantic fics.
Like I am doing with yours, I decided to read her older works. One was called “Carry you Home”. A story where Harry dies& Ginny is ill and Tonks is the one that knows what exactly happens. That story broke me. I wept like a baby because by then, I had lost my Daddy after a sick bed of only 7 weeks. It payed a huge part in my grieving process as I had a hard time crying. I kept internalizing too much. That author, Andy, became a dear friend and I met many more through fanfics.
Grieving is important and the way you write it down was logical yet so wise amd emotional. My compliments & thank you.
