Truer words were never spoken, Duncan. Its annoying how people continuously try to blame them-self for something they had no control over. And Kathryn should understand that it was her parents job to make sure their daughter lived. If a kid dies for the parents, then the parents failed their job.

I like this Cousland more and more, this one stands up against Morrigan again and again, witch's hypocrisy needs to be toned down a level or two.

Roland's response was realistic, one could not move past his first love immediately, I might have expected a rational response but this response was much better.

Good that they are taking it slow. Kathryn had a momentous revelation, just the same feelings what Leliana told her.

Haha once you win over Wynne she becomes amusing teaser and very supportive of relationship.

The fight with apparitions had involved me completely, very well written.

Roland's apparent lack of satisfaction on defeating Alistair's apparition shows he has finally come to accept and move on without hurting himself.

Wynne needed that lesson and Leliana is best person to give that. Again I like how detailed her observation was, Wynne's prejudices required substantial explanations to the contrary view point.

Touching quite touching, this is first time Alistair hardships at stable and monastery have been covered along with his warrior history so beautifully by associating it to appearance of his hands and Kathryn response was a what a lucky man could wish for, I do envy Alistair. :)

Finally they are together.
It was discernable why she was avoiding him but there wasn't proof enough, that even Zevran couldn't gave Alistair some hope.

The small story from Antivan book in last chapter was perfect and real. It is what defines true companionship, love, desire and passion, it is not fickle, it doesn't grow old, it is eternal.

They understand each other completely,

Alistair did have immediate grasp of her pain and he didn't force her in to anything except to face her ownself, and he didn't let her do it alone, he stood there as her rock.

Great chapter.

If any one can pull a wonderful trick it has to be Zevran. The assasin makes it hard not to love him as a character.
There are some stories where Alistair irritates to core, some Male Cousland stories where Morrigan and Leliana may grate on nerve, but Zevran is rarely unlikable. :)

Feel bad for Rory, but he acted too much controlling to less trusting and with lack of patience in last few days.
I like determined Alistair, go man get your girl.

How much beautiful coincidence, the place where they both felt first stirrings of love is the place where both realized their current feelings too.

I ohh.. (groans) Alistair there is no love without chance of getting hurt.

The tension between relationships in this story is keeping me on edge. It is like one step forward two step backward. I'm excited as hell tto know when it will unfold.

Bad timing Alistair, when he tries to act he lucks out.
