Great to look further into the politics of the craftworld and see Yaidev stepping onto that stage. (or thinking about it at least)
loved the references to time and how it is viewed by beings that live for thousands of years.
Another path transition is cool and a different reason for changing but still fits with the core of why she would be changing..
Glad she still remains friends with everyone and hope we keep getting updates on them through the story like this.

By the time Yaidev’s switch to the Path of the Seer, she’s in her early two hundreds. I’ve never made exact dates; her age was always more of a rough idea.

Feels like it's been too long since I last read a chapter of this story.
Absolutely love your portrayal of Eldar civillian life and their own political situations.

Got a question, how old is Yaidev now? (as of chapter 14)

It's been a while

What I like about this chapter is that you've managed to start serious and kept that theme throughout the chapter, you've also managed to keep the story moving while alluding to an interesting sub-plot (the romance). You've also gone and touched on how the current state of things in the 41st Milienium has influnced Eldar culture (while this is obviously going to be the case in any society, you've managed to find a lovely way of doing it without overdoing it).

As well written as always. I really enjoyed the interaction shown between the different clans and how tentions are kept subtle and not escalated at the slightest difference of opinion. People acting as actual adults who think and restrain themselves, have paitience etc is a sadly rare thing in stories.
Same with the blossoming romance and all the friends reaction to it.
As always a wonderful read.

All in all this was a great chapter.

So happy to finally have another chapter to read. Thankyou for another excellent read. I hope this story goes on to become a fullblown novel, and a large one at that. (The bigger the better.) That being said one of the (many) things I admire about your writings is that you have stories the length they need to be rather than adding fluff just to make them longer so I fully trust your judgement in how long this story goes.
However it turns out I will look forward to every update. (:

Since the last chapter I have gone off and read a bunch of other stuff, including Fox & Raven, (another great story) but also Path of the Warrior from the Black Library. Personally I like this story far more.
I love the culture and lore of the Eldar, their way of life, how they think and their views of the universe as depicted here. It feels right with everything else I know from Warhammer 40k. This seems like a tale from a real, complete universe with history, background and actual characters with life, emotions and personalities. The culture of the Eldar is unique and different and not just a copy of a human culture that had a few names swapped.
This story is what I wanted Path of the Warrior to be and I hope it continues into a full-blown novel, preferably a large one. That being said one of the things I admire about CorvusAlbus is that the stories are the length they need to be and finish when they should rather than being stuffed with extra fluff just to make them longer or cut short so they are easier to read.
Thankyou once again CorvusAlbus, I very much look forward to future chapters.

This has been one of my fav FF for quite a while. I hope you keep up the quality. The parts with kaine were immense.

Loved it. First read was over half a year ago and I have been waiting (trying to be patient) looking forward to more chapters and would love a full blown novel or more to eevetuate.
Also love the notes at the end of the chapters on language etc.

I recently discovered this story and I would like to thank you for the great job you did with it so far. I am looking forward to next chapters, believe me. While I dont know much about the Warhammer 40k lore I always liked the Eldar more than all the other inhabitans of the galaxy. And you are kind enough to not just show them but also their culture, it is an interesting change from the usual everyone shoots at everyone stories where none of their cultures gets any spotlight. As for your character Yaidev, I must say I like her. I recently read "Path of the Warrior" by Gav Thorpe and to be honest I prefer your story. For one Yaidec is at least in my opinion far more likeable than Korlandril and secondly your story appears to be less... rushed, hasty I guess you could say. Of course thats just my opinion but thats how I see it. Anyway, I thank you once again for this great story and look forward to more.
