Escoger chapter 24 . 2/16 I know that this story will probably never be updated, which is a shame as it’s actually really good. The prose is well-done and the characters fit themselves. About my only wish would be that there was less focus on OCs (no matter how well they are written) and more on the Buffy characters themselves. Still, I am glad I have read it and only wish that there had been a ‘completed’ tag on it. Well done. |
madmick74 chapter 24 . 4/8/2010 Please come back and finish, this is a great story! :) |
Blueramza chapter 24 . 11/11/2009 Still here, hopping that you'll continue to work on this, as I always felt it was a good story. |
Guest chapter 15 . 5/9/2009 Your prose is solid, but you have a tendency to wax verbose over parts of your story containing characters I don't care about. That means my eyes drift over paragraphs to get to the interesting bits. Also, you need to do some research... specifically in the weaponry department. It is rather difficult to read something when the author uses incorrect terminology. When you say 'Colt .45' I believe you mean a Colt 1911, which is the pistol's model number and military designation (unless you are referring to a .45 Long Colt - the ACTUAL Colt .45 - which would be a revolver). There are several other weapon errors which give me pause, but this is simply a review and I am making a point. PM me if you would like corrections. I like your character interaction. It feels genuine in some ways but also scripted in others. You seem to go out of your way to have the most dramatic reactions possible in your characters. That's fine, but personally I prefer drama to be used conservatively... it has more impact that way. Regardless of how much I want to hate your characters right now I cannot seem to stop reading. I want to find out what happens too much. Good job so far. I mean it too... I never give good reviews. |
iamkagomeiloveinuyasha chapter 5 . 6/12/2008 interesting |
IOException chapter 24 . 1/19/2007 Glad to read another chapter! I was worried the story was dead. I must admit though that I'm a bit lost now. Could you maybe post a recap chapter, which could summarize what has gone on up until now. Also, can we see more of Xander and the core scoobies? Keep up the good work. |
lwbush chapter 24 . 1/10/2007 First: YAY! Rabid's back! Second: Whoa - Buffy as an angelic creature - a seraphic Nephalim, I believe you said? Whoa! Talk about a new force of nature! I've loved the concept of the Nephalim since Madeline L'Engle used it in one of her stories, and the idea of our favorite Slayer being promoted to one just gives me chills. Take your time as you must. This is worth the wait. Missed you, though. Nice to see you're still working on this. |
Calen chapter 24 . 1/3/2007 Eh, I really like what you've done so far. But Buffy... a mongrel angel? Well at least this way she might not turn completely insane, like in the series. All of them just leaving Dawn, battered and beaten. Has Willow forgot how to do a locating spell? Xander's whol Whistler thing I could maybe understand, but the goverment thing? That's a total betrayl of their trust, even if Sunnydale crew needed their help, he should of at least told one of the others. But still, Buffy a nerph? Will she be like those angel-monster things from the first Tomb Raider game? Anyway, Mor soon! |
WBH21C chapter 24 . 1/2/2007 So very well done! Glad to see more of this. |
APS chapter 23 . 12/24/2006 Great story, keep up the good work. you still in the land of the living? (Updated: 07-25-05) |
Blueramza chapter 23 . 12/21/2006 This is the best story... however I really wish we could get an update on it... Please, consider taking this story up again. |
Gylzgurl chapter 23 . 11/4/2006 And now that I've read all of what's been posted so far I'm in love with the story even more. I can't wait to read what happens next. But one question: is Buffy half angel? |
Gylzgurl chapter 2 . 11/4/2006 Are hot dogs really made from pigs' snouts and unused meat scraps? Contrary to popular belief, hot dogs are not made from left-over meat laying around on the floors of meat-packing houses. Whether it is pork or beef that is stuffed into a hot dog, the meat trimmings are carefully selected just like the meat you buy in your grocer's coolers. Most recipes for hot dogs combine together a tasty blend of favorite meats (pork, beef, chicken, or turkey), meat fat, a cereal filler which could be either bread crumbs, flour, or oatmeal, a little bit of egg white, and a mouth-watering array of herbs and seasonings including garlic, pepper, ground mustard, nutmeg, salt, and onion. Once these ingredients are grinded together, the stuffing is squeezed into sausage casings. Many of the hot dogs sold in stores are enclosed in synthetic cellulose casings, but most home-made hot dogs are made out of natural animal intestines. Following the stuffing process is the pre-cooking cycle in which the hot dog links are tossed into boiling water for approximately 15 minutes. Finally, the dogs are packaged, loaded on delivery trucks, and sent off to food markets. ...LOL. I just had to find out. :) But honestly? I absolutely love your story so far. Now I'm gonna go read the rest of it. Keep up the good work. :) |
HemisH chapter 23 . 7/10/2006 Gah this story is so great. I hate when I find an awesome story that was discarded... I really wish you will write more soon. Best Buffy fanfic I've read so far. |
