I REALLY wish this is what happened. I rarely watched the show after Ziva joined. The writers jumped the shark with her.

Tony needed someone to stand up for him, Ziva got what she deserves!

Great story.
In canon Ziva gets away with far too much and you have to wonder if she mentioned in her report that she fired her gun in an enclosed container or whether she ‘forgot’ that.

Oh I enjoyed the new perspective. Ziva was the negative force in trying to isolate Tony. The arrogant that she displayed with the Medifast in McGee. So cutting off the disease before it could fester. ( Wow look at me using big words lol) well that was me saying how much I liked this fic. I really need to stop reviewing before bed.

Great story...I like the ziva bashing perspective!

Ziva's assumption that Tony "never takes anything seriously" because of his jokes is overblown, but not as overblown as this entire reaction to him not being invited to her dinner. Of course the rest of the team would be offended that she didn't invite him, but she was perfectly within her rights to do so, since this dinner was held at her home during her personal time. Employers actually do not have the right to dictate how employees spend their personal time or who they spend it with (as Gibbs and Jenny both seem to think here). That goes against the most basic anti-discrimination workplace laws.

Good take on this episode. Didn't like that Tony wasn't invited.
Now that MW is leaving I am getting back into rereading old NCIS stories.
