I'm getting a bit confused with your punctuation. It feels likes your sentences are extremely long and I have to backtrack sometimes to read what I read before to remember what is going on, you should really check that out. Other than that, this chapter was amazing, as always!

Aw mycroft

I am thoroughly enjoying this :-) the narrative is very compelling, and your original character is likeable in that she is damaged but not a weakling. I also like that Mycroft is featuring as a main character; his attachment to Alice is very believable. Sherlock's almost childlike behavioural tics when Alice is present is adorable too. The only thing I would say could be improved a little that at times during the dialogue it's not hugely clear who is speaking and that can be confusing. But it's a trap we all fall into, and I honestly feel this is probably the most accomplished Sherlock homage I've read so far. Keep up the good work, I can't wait for the next instalment!

Glad to see you used The Black Keys song! :) Brilliant writing as always. I love how you've shown that Sherlock just wants to care for her as opposed to Thomas and even Mycroft's desire to control her. And, Alice is sooo wonderfully complex. It's such a joy to read!
