This second half of the story provided the closure we needed. Thank you! Lee and Amanda are a bit over-the-top mushy, but that's preferable to when they fail to act at all on the powerful feelings they have for one another. This was another fine story and I'm keen to read your latest (and your last, it appears) next.

Good thing Francine took Amanda's concern to heart, convinced Billy and they high-tailed it to the warehouse with tons of backup. Now Rondo and his two partners in crime will, hopefully, be in a maximum-security prison with no chance of parole.

Lee going alone into that warehouse has alarm bells ringing in my head.

From what Billy said, my inference is that the Evil Jerken bought his Agent status greasing the palms of influential politicians and was in deep with Rondo all along. His plan was to eliminate the top Agents in the D.C. area so their crime spree could continue without interruption.

Oh Amanda! You're not in shape physically and shouldn't be driving. Not to mention, Dotty will be frantic when she returns and you're gone. You don't even want to ponder what Lee will do!

Why didn't The Agency experts in Crypto figure that out? Well done, Amanda! Phone Lee or Billy with your revelation and stay put!

Something isn't right about this case Jerken wanted help with so it's good Billy has some of his people investigating. It feels like some evil genie was let out of the bottle.
