Damn... it's been a long time. I reckon when this is finished, I'm going to reread it from start to end, because as it stands the only things I really remember are Sheldon Cooper, Deadpool (and his grudge with evil-Mcevilface) that guy who turned traitor and the Schnee in the mask (who I believe is Cal). I'm glad this hasn't been abandoned or forgotten though, and I look forward to the conclusion of this 5-and-a-bit year old saga.

Basically, Obaz is Inaho from Aldnoah thats all I can see now.

Truth be told I think you would be doing this series a favor by taking the reins on story development and direction. I believe Resloves core strength is it's immersive world building, something RWBY proper nowadays seems to sorely lack. Ever since volume 4 the world of Remnant has felt like an empty box with directionless characters in it doing meaningless things.

But even if you decide to stick with your policy canonical noninterference Resolve still has a lot going for it and much to come. We still haven't exactly delved into a story arc starring the grim worshiping cult. Overall, this was a nice and unexpected surprise and I hope you stick around to write more.

Honestly, I can't believe this is still going but I understand why it took so long for you to get back to anything resembling this even if I will fully admit to not remembering if Helena and Steven were the good guys or bad guys until the other two died and Helena had a heart-to-heart with Steven.

I don't know why I'm thinking this now, but I feel that Obaz would get along well with Umbrella from RHG/Hyun's Dojo.

Darn, if the chapters weren’t so good I would be disappointed but the long update times. Heck, as it is, I probably need to go over some of the other chapters again to remember who everyone is, what they look like, their weapons, semblance’s, and what at this exact moment they are hoping to do in the facility.

To be honest, Obaz is really coming off as a Gary Stu here. Maybe you might have rectified this in later chapters, but it's frankly discouraging to read something that has a Gary Stu.

Damn that was really well written combat. Somehow you managed to capture the fast paced flowing combat of the show with just words really impressive writing. The details just cement everything together overall so far a great fan-fic.
