Glad someone hoped Ron could improve himself. I'd have waited a few years after graduation and then maybe, IF he matured at all, might have thought he could accomplish this. Perhaps it's work ethic, perhaps it's embarrassment over job prospects, which he brought on himself, admittedly, or combination of both, but maybe this will be the push that shows him he's capable if he actually tries and works towards a goal.

I understand Hermione did it for the Weasleys, but she's a better person than me. I'd have forced Ron to face his responsibilities regardless of his temper. He's not 2, he's about 18 by now and can act like the adult he should be.

Trust me. I've seen it over and over with the same person. Someone bails them out of financial trouble, then they simply turn around do it again and expect to be bailed out again... and they are. Never learning from the experiences. Always someone else's fault...

Hubby has called me some seriously dorky nicknames in our 30plus years. Sometimes I say, No! Not that one. Others I just got used to hearing. It's endearing now, but when he says them in front of others I realize it's odd nicknames...

Peaches. I had a white fluffy mutt named Peaches when I was a young teen.

I am so glad Hermione and Lavendar reconnect at an adult level. Unfortunately, it took a war to cause lav lav to grow up. I'm glad to see she is more mature and has a good sense of self esteem. It's opposite her teen nature. She's not going to let outward scars ruin who she is on the inside. Good for her. A strong, confident, but not cocky Lavendar is good to see.

Being that Lavender is female, she is likely to be "a bit irritable" at least once a month already (think menstrual cycle and PMS...and God-forbid she go through menopause at some point in the future as that would be YEARS of irritability...I remember what that was like all so well!).
