standasawitness chapter 63 . 8/5/2016 And they're happy again! The reunion was worth the angst from the previous chapter. I think those two weeks were really good for Sherlock (even if not for everybody else) if only so that he could realize just how much Molly means to him. Thank you! :D |

Aphraelsan chapter 63 . 8/4/2016 This was lovely! I'm glad she was able to hold out for a bit and see how she felt - it gave Sherlock a proper chance to see what life is like without her! I love this story so much! Thank you for the updates! |
Librasmile chapter 63 . 8/4/2016 Sorry I couldn't get to this until now. Started a new job and things have been crazy. Beautifully written as usual. Love the drama. Don't like Sherlock's idiocy of course. But mostly it's because he's traumatizing Gabriel all over again when he REALLY should know better. He has no excuse. I wonder what a child therapist would say about him throwing Gabriel's plate into the sink, yelling at him and checking out emotionally while Gabriel still needs him. This is a thing with me so please bear with me. I think Sherlock needs a bigger slap in the face from reality. He can be an ass to Molly. She's a grown up. She has the power to leave. Gabriel doesn't. And there are serious consequences for neglecting your child. I think he needs to run smack into them. No mercy. And you KNOW I love Gabriel. Even when he misbehaves, he's my little squishums, so I get majorly pissed when he's mistreated. Sherly needs to pay! Anyhoo, I like how you had John and Mary handle things. Although it seems like John should be living at Mary's at this point. Did I forget something? Finally, ALL of this could have been avoided if Sherlock had simply hired a nanny and a housekeeper. Why didn't he? Can he not afford it? Or is he just that clueless? Even David Bowie, at his most coked out, had a responsible nanny looking after his son at all times, while his ex-wife left the kid alone to go out partying. That's why HE got full custody of his son. If it were up to me, I'd snatch the kid and give him to Mycroft. Yes that would SUCK. But Mycroft would never ever leave that boy with an adult who would ignore him. Okay rant over. VERY glad you're still writing and gave us these lovely chapters. I always look forward to them. Sorry you're having a rough time as a pro author. PM me if you need to vent. |
