Sorry I love all of this fanfiction but your portrayal of Elijah. You are not writing him in character, he does care about him family. Daniel Gillies was not contracted to be in the episode when Kol died it did not mean he didn't morn him. Also he stood by Klaus longer than anyone and even after everything Klaus did to him he could not kill him.

I personally prefer this version, I like the character development and the changes that have happened. the fact that Kol is alive already also makes this interesting as the future plot would be fantastic i'm sure. If you do decide to continue this story i'm sure it will be great.

Great story so far! I see you have not updated it and hope that your muse for it will return soon. I did go loo at the rewrite you started too, and I prefer how this one starts.
