"I can only promise I will never abandon this story" - you have no idea how much that made me happy! As a reader, of course I get disappointed when a well written story gets abandoned, but I also feel some sort of secondhand regret that all that time and effort a writer exerted doesn't lead to a conclusion. Some fics had me waiting for years for just one update, but they are simply worth it, and if ever you are unable to write for this fic for a bit of a while, I feel that this is one of those.

I really love the pacing of this story and how romance isn't forced down our throats, but is instead developed slowly as the chapters progress. If I read about Berwald falling in love with Tino at first sight one more time, I don't know what I'd do.
The supernatural aspect is really interesting too. I admit I was kind of confused when Lukas was confronting some being in his mind during his trial (I just imagined it like mangekyo sharingan- ha ha), but the mists actually creeped me out when they attacked Emil in the cell, which is pretty embarrassing/stupid on my part since I live in a tropical island and mist is pretty much nonexistent here.

Anyway, looking forward to the next chapter!

I'm mostly a lurker but this story deserves recognition and review because it is sooo good-I'm a huge fan of the Nordics and I like how they are all true to their character and the suspense is there and your writing is very beautiful ;/;

How are you so good at writing? o.O Seriously, it's really professional. And don't worry about the length. People who think chapters written like this are too long aren't ready to read real literature ;) I think that if this was a finished book, then I wouldn't be able to put it down until I was finished. And this was so worth the wait. Such a satisfying read.

I have a friend that despises the thing called 'fanfiction'. He says they're bad pieces of fiction that have little to no real plot and poor writers. Well, in some cases that is true. But the reason I love them is the moments when I come across a story that has it all. Of course you aren't finished with your story but what you have feels like a real book. You seem to be doing a great job in giving the characters life and personality since in the show they tend to get a little shallow. Especially the Nordics since they have so few episodes. Your setting happens to be one of my favorite one as well. The medieval era is just perfect for stories. Anyway, I really enjoyed reading your work and will be waiting for the next chapter.

Must say you've got the makings for a great story here! Medieval works are some of my personal favorites, especially if there is the possibility of witchcraft. Berwald seems really strong and commanding, something I'm on the fence with. While I enjoy it, I can't help but think it's out o character for him, but hey, he's gotta be commanding and tough for this position! The lack of his taciturn also gives off his authoritative standing, seeming much more imposing. Seriously stumped as to how it will continue from here, but to I do look forward to finding out!
