At first I was skeptical about reading this at first because you know...its Beauty and the Beast mixed with Sherlock lol But I was dying for something a little different after reading a stream of semi decent fanfics. I really will say that the world you created was absolutely amazing! It doesn't follow an exact Beauty and Beast theme and it is truly well done. The only ONLY complaint I have was that the characters were right on point until the maybeee the last 10 chapters or so? Sherlock was a little to OCC for my taste although it still wasn't bad. I like the character progression until that point. Mycroft was too OCC for my tastes and if you had warning or disclaimers about it, I didn't read them lol Cause I did love your story so I muscled through those parts. You're an amazing writer and I appreciate you for writing!

I am so happy that I'm reading this years after it was finished so I don't have to wait for the next chapter to post. I don't think I could. This story is fricking amazing!

This story was so good! I’m extremely picky with my stories (especially ones as long as this-I tend to get bored halfway through) but I finished this in one night! Thanks for an amazing ride! (And by one night I mean half of yesterday and it’s 5:01 am now aha) where is this sequel?

This is without a doubt my new favourite Sherlock fan fiction! And I have read so so very many of them! I couldn't stop reading! I actually skipped class to read it, and I have skipped a total of 6 classes since I started university! So seriously, incredible! Absolutely amazing! I am always astounded by the fanfics I read, but nothing has come close to this! A brilliant,well-constructed world that you brought to life with such grace and fun. This is an amazing fanfic. I adore Beauty and the Beast and Sherlock but I never thought they'd make a good crossover. You proved me wrong. I read this entire thing in two days, it was that good. I've been obsessed. The writing is amazing, you're control of the characters is fantastic. The aura that you project through your writing is captivating. Your writing is like a dark forest, filled with underbrush and bramble thorns, but with a soft golden light filtering through the tree canopy to illuminate iridescent flowers and the scampering of small animals. Thank you for writing this magnificent story. I hope you to read more from you soon.

I was very skeptical of an au story, but I can never pass up a Beauty and the Beast story. And I'm very glad I didn't skip this one. I DEVOURED this beautiful work. Thoroughly enjoyed every iota and nuance... you made me cry over a damn BIRD. You have magic of your own.

Ok I hardly ever review (don't hate me) and if I do, it has to be some majorly good stuff. Well this is some majorly good stuff. (Also I speed read, so I never read anything incomplete, the wait kills me lol).
It was so refreshing to read this story, so beautifully crafted. The ties to Beauty and the Beast were there but subtle. I can't stand reading a story like that where the author just takes a story word for word and just changes the names. It was an old fairy tale that you made completely your own.
The characters were perfect. The development was spot on. I fucking cried because of an owl. That's how you know it's good. Sherlock and John were just brilliant. Moriarty too. I laughed, cried, loved, and hated with the characters. You did such a good job including the reader; the author always knows what they mean but sometimes they write as if the reader should know it too. You never did. It was clear, developed with out being too detailed, the imagery was inspiring. I have nothing bad to say about this at all.
It's not often that I'm so wholly impressed with a story like this, but you've done a remarkable job. I loved the elements from the show that tied in with the fairy tale, and how perfectly you wove it all together. I'm definitely a huge fan and I'm looking forward to the sequel and anything else from you.
PS I absolutely LOVED the way it ended. With John actually living out his dream. And the the quotes from the show itself. Fantastic job.

I rarely go on but a friend insisted I had to read this story even though I don't normally go for AUs. I'm glad she did because I absolutely loved this story. I honestly think that if you were to change the names you would have here a delightfully original novel that is pretty much ready for publication - one that is a billion times better than that dreadful 50 Shades of Grey! I really enjoyed it and the characterisations were brilliant as were your OCs. The plot had so many twists and turns to it that kept me fully engaged. Thank you for sharing it!
