TW chapter 1 . 10/16/2017 very interesting |
Self-Inflicted Insanity chapter 1 . 12/5/2013 YES the film was absolutely brilliant! djfkladsjfkljds it was so amazing *-* I freaked out so bad after watching it XD I think you did a great job with your portrayal of Loki here! Just how he had nobody after Frigga died, and how he still craves love even though he knows he shouldn't, and how he looked so hurt when Thor said he didn't have any faith in him anymore... My absolute favorite part of this was the paragraph where you said what Loki saved Thor for - not for Odin, but for two brothers, his mother, the king he wanted to be and the monster he had become, and how he'd done it for love. That was especially beautiful and moving. Thank you so much for sharing! |
Sumi chapter 1 . 12/2/2013 I also found the film brillant in term of loki and thor dyamic. Thor reaction to loki joke or witty comment were quite enjoyable. I didnt like how movie give no funtional role for jane foster. She didnt fight at all even with ether within her. She was that weak damsel dying of invasion of foreign dark magic. She like a sack of potatoe throw in asard then dark elves planet and back to earth |
A-Bookworm-Named-Steph chapter 1 . 11/15/2013 I know I'm the first of my friends to see the movie too! I loved it I almost cried when Loki died but denial refused to let me believe he was dead and he wasn't! I loved the parts with Darcy and Ivan was it? This is a great piece on Loki's thoughts through the movie. |
marinawings chapter 1 . 11/14/2013 Yes, the movie was brilliant! To quote an old children's TV show, "I laughed; I cried. It moved me, Bob." And I think the way you filled in the missing scenes is also brilliant! The movie left me with a lot of questions and speculations-particularly about Loki, of course-so I have enjoyed reading what others have thought about the mysteries we were left with. I feel that your interpretation is true to the heart of the story and to the character of Loki as presented in the film. This is an excellent interpretation of what Loki was thinking and feeling in these moments, both what we saw and what we didn't see on screen. This story of yours rings true with me emotionally, and I think I'd personally like to consider it canon. :) |
Zephyr169 chapter 1 . 11/13/2013 Oh my gosh! I Know right? I just saw the movie and almost cried. It was AMAZING! I love your recount of the story and how you added what Loki could have been thinking at that piont in time. I LOVED it! :) |
mackwriter chapter 1 . 11/11/2013 Can't wait until the next one. I love how they made Loki seem more humane in this movie. |
vkeithley chapter 1 . 11/10/2013 Loved the film! Loved this little fic! I am forever a believer in the redemptive power of love and the true bro-Mance between Thor and Loki. Their brotherly love through everything is awe-inspiring. And I believe Loki, deep down, under the rage, under the hurt, is a good person. Frigga and Thor wouldn't love an evil man. Your writing is very good, as well. So many bad writers here post truly awful, grammatically incorrect, under-characterized, heavy-handed, middle-school level fictions. I appreciate the skill of your writing. |
kathryn.mcmillan.169 chapter 1 . 11/8/2013 I thought the film was absolutely brilliant and tom hiddleston must have had a blast getting into lLki's persona. There's so much to dissect and then project onto the screen, and he was fabulous. This fic's really good at seeing loki's pov. good job |
tjsmiles chapter 1 . 11/8/2013 If the movie is near as brilliant as your writing, I am a thousand times more pumped! |
Feathered Filly chapter 1 . 11/7/2013 I'm over in America so I haven't seen it yet, but I've been hearing people say Loki dies, and that pretty much freaked me out. He's the only character I really care for, cause honestly, I'm not a big Thor fan. If there's no Loki, there's no Thor for me. Only like Thor as his brother and not really as his own character if that makes sense. So, this story, is it what truly happens? Loki actually does survive? Skills Odin? And Thor just doesn't know it? Please spoil anything and everything for me! You want someone to talk to, and even though I haven't seem it yet, I WANT you to tell me all about it. How soon into the movie does Loki "die"? If it's not near the ending I really don't want to waste my time and money seeing it and will just wait until it comes out on DVD. This was beautiful writing though, and the "death" scene was truly emotional! I so hate, but kinda love, those kinda scenes where someone dies while being cradled in another's arms... they always make me a bawling sobby mess :( |
elendoy chapter 1 . 11/5/2013 Hello, I do agree with you... the movie is absolutely brilliant (so is your fic by the way). I actually cried while reading your fic. It is well writen and really express all the feelings I bet we both felt at the cinema. I wasn't expecting a Thor movie that good, but truth be told Loki and Frigga's deaths made a quite touching film. Excellent fic! (I'll be watching you in case you write anything else of this fandom) :) Take care |
Waffles Risa chapter 1 . 11/5/2013 MEHREHHEHEHEHE. Good stuff :) Loved Loki in the film...oh and another thing, did you ever think that Frigga wasn't allowed to visit his cell - remember Odin's "you shall never see her again" - and so loki had been speaking to one of his OWN conjured apparitions when he was talking with her? How much more heart achingly, soul rippingly sad is that. |
