Just reread this work, still as great as I remember!

This is one of the best stories ever. I could not stopp until the end.

I don’t have the proper words for my love and appreciation of this story. As a historian, I was thrilled to find this, and even more thrilled at the rich descriptions that made ancient Pompeii come to life! The action and romance were brilliant. What a twist there at the end! Was it real, was it imagined? Rarely have I seen such brilliant plotwork in fanfiction. This could be a full on legitimate novel! On top of it all, the writing skill from a technical standpoint was flawless. I am overwhelmed by what a true masterpiece this is. Thank you for it!

This was an exceptional story and richly deserved all its rewards. I will have to reread my Pompeiian archaeology & history now! I am in awe of how well the history and the fan story meshed here.
