Yikes, Shikamaru didn't handle that well at all. Interesting choice of words by Ino's great-aunt...it's for the best. Does that have anything to do with the story from chapter 1? And that was a terrible move on the clan heads' part - they basically blackmailed Ino into marrying Shikamaru. It looks like she wasn't honest with him either when it comes to their affair...

I get the feeling that nobody is going to like what the clan heads are planning. Where are Shikaku, Inoichi, and Chouza (sorry if I missed this in the story)? And Ino is in love with Shikamaru, isn't she? Awesome chapter as always! :)

Ino just saw her ancestor, didn't she? Is the house related to the story from Chapter 1 in any way?
