But seriously. Everything about this was SO adorable. The way you write the characters as kids is so spot-on with their personalities and just so cute to imagine. I especially loved:

-Fishlegs' conversation with his mom. The way you wrote it, the dialogue and Fish's thought processes, are so in line with how a kid thinks xD The blurting out everything in one sentence. And of course sixteen is so old. And why do grown-ups laugh at stuff that isn't funny? :P

-Ruffnut randomly declaring Fish isn't her boyfriend anymore. Lol. I knew the moment he saved Tuff she'd probably do that xD That is so fitting for her character, especially a little girl version of her. Poor Fishlegs. But it was hilarious.

-The teeny bit of Hiccstrid, because come on. It was so cute!

-Fishlegs giving her the tooth necklace! OMG why have I never thought of that?! I wasn't expecting that but when I read the first part about him finding the tooth I was like EHRMAGERD HE GAVE HER THE NECKLACE and then lo and behold, he did. That was absolutely brilliant and so freaking adorable! I have to say that was my favorite part of this fic, out of both chapters. And I love that Ruffnut decided never to take the necklace off. GAH I am so using all of this for my Rufflegs stuff now! Wow. Such squee! Very shipping!

After re-reading chapter one and reading this chap (finally), I still say this is my favorite fic of yours. I guess I just like cute dorky little kid shenanigans in writing? Idk. Awesome job :D

I can just imagine their cuteness!
Why do you always make your stories so believable, like you're taking plot sequences from Dean DeBlois or Cressida Cowell! Seriously, these are that good! And this was so cute! I can imagine their peppy voices and small bodies! Awww! Keep writing!
