| LAB1 chapter 9 . 11/1/2018 Oh no! I'm sure the book should have told them no nipple stimulation in the third trimester as it can bring on contractions! Especially with her history of preterm labor with her first and now with twins! My twins didn't try to come early, but their brother did and we were warned by the dr to be very careful. |
| LAB1 chapter 1 . 11/1/2018 A twin pregnancy is nothing like "the book"! I remember explaining it to my OB like it was a pregnancy on steroids. He said it was. Twice the level of hormones! The sickness was beyond anything normal! No one would believe me when I said it was twins even though my 4 week blood work showed quadrupling numbers vs doubling. I had to go to the mall for an ultrasound to confirm the twins! Yes, the mall! I walked in to the store asking for an ultrasound to confirm that I was having twins. They were doubtful, but I was paying and they said sure. Two beautiful little heartbeats later and I got in for a medical ultrasound with my OBs office and immediately put on bedrest with weekly ultrasounds. If I hadn't gone to the mall, I probably would have lost them due to a huge Subchorionic hemotoma right above them! |
