So, is she tormented and what him to go back before she was the monster? Or is she tormented by what her friends did and want him to go back to where maybe she can stop them?

she's such a ? She's always so quick to accuse instead of finding out the reasons why. and I don't understand her reasoning here.. who cares what their ages were look what they did.

The fact that he feels like he has betrayed her by letting her give in to her dark side breaks my little heart. He's so sweet and loves her so much, and he's trying so hard to fight with that. It's so beautiful. Ugh, I'm such a sap.

The way you capture Ares' humor it's brilliant. I find myself laughing out loud at most of his responses or one liners. Second time reading this story and I am dreading getting to end. I hope you decide to update this one at some point. It's dark and heartbreaking but funny at the same time.

This is one of the best stories I've ever read!
Do you plan to finish it someday? Pleeease, do it. These tricks are so cool - I really want to know the end.

Xena humors them way too much. She is trying to help them and they treat her like something really evil.
I wonder if she knows Ares involvement with the Amazons and what is going on there in the first place. She was heading there to warn them and not Ares is there too obviously he has been working with Marga at least for a while. I cant wait to see where this story goes

Oh, what is this turn of events...Ares has come to the Amazon camp and is going to talk with the Queen...hhmm, I wonder if Xena is going to be brought in when he is there.

I haven't forgotten about this one... It was a labyrinth of what was reality at the beginning, although I'm still not sure what those little visions or alternate realities Ares had there meant with Xena constantly dying on him, though I suppose I'll never figure your mind out. ;)

Oh my goodness, now I'm just so curious of what will happen...will Ares switch sides and then fight against Athena's forces. How could he pass up a chance to scorn Athena? And what a way to really blow Xena's mind when she thinks he is really trying to destroy the Amazons.

Although, I still would like to know how Xena knew Ares and Athena were working together...that part still has me puzzled...hhmmm...but I've been on a crazy ride with this since the start so, I guess I'll continued to be confused a little. :))))

And hhmm, Athena's troops are whispering about something... Tsk, tsk, tsk... They should be careful of what they're saying...

And oh, I still have it in my mind that Athena is still trying to eliminate Xena... She's an obstacle standing in her way and she would love nothing more than to stick it to Ares be ending her life... But hold on, don't go breaking my heart like that and listening to that silly nonsense I just threw out... I've been broken enough, thank you.

Now what could this visit mean...ooohhhh, the wheels are turning for sure...but it's so hard to guess. But oh, if Ares is there when Xena is brought in would she actually say anything in front of him? She doesn't want Ares to know that she is on to him, even though he already knows that she knows, hhhmmm, but she doesn't know that. So many twists and turns and lies and manipulations... It's just an endless cycle! :D I wonder if Ares will leave with her or if he'll be gone before she even arrives. Will she feel his lingering presence if he does..? My curious mind is just out of control. :)))

Time will tell how this series of events are going to unfold... I still think that those visions, or whatever they were, that Ares was getting earlier was like a sign that Xena is going to die as a direct affect unconsciously made by him...like I said, don't go breaking my heart and pretend I never said this and you didn't see it... And his little nightmare (mine too) of losing her will happen. :(

Oh no, the amazons are riled up now. A little scratch and they are out for her blood now...I loved how the amazon was playing the victim, 'she tried to kill me' ppfff if she tried you would be dead.

Hhmm, Athena definitely has something up her sleeve...I thought it was odd that she was playing nice with Ares but she is plotting against him to take away the one thing that matters to him the most...Xena.

Oh dear I can't wait to see how things are going to go down. :))))
