I'm so glad you updated this! Great chapter! I can't begin to imagine why he had to sneak off without telling anyone why or where he was going, and he certainly cannot expect any self respecting woman to welcome him back into her and their daughter's life without one word of explanation of his behavior.

Omigod I absolutely love the story so far. I can't wait to see what happens next and though it's obvious Bella loves Jasper too much to not forgive him, I want to see the true detailed reason he left. Plus it earns kudos with me because my mom was and still is a single mom raising her son and having already raised a daughter after divorce. Single moms or dads are the a strongest most amazing heros we have besides soldiers.

I accidentally clicked on submit before I finished my last sentence in last chapter's review. What I was saying is that his refusal to tell her why he left her and their child high and dry to survive without them only proves that he cannot be trusted to remain a stable part of Amelia's life, and providing a stable loving environment for her child has to be her highest priority. She's no longer just risking her own heart if she were to give him a second chance without so much as an explanation, she'd also be risking Amelia's emotional well being, and her priority must be protecting Amelia.

I'm glad to hear your son is better now. I don't understand why Jasper can't just tell her why he left. How can he even ask her to forgive him and commit to a life with him and Amelia if he can't tell her why he left? How the hell is she supposed to ever trust him again to be there for her, let alone for Amelia? Even if it's something that he has to keep confidential for legal reasons, he could at least tell her that much, but to not say anything? No way. Her priority has to be to provide Amelia with the most stable, loving environment possible, and he cannot be trusted to be a stable part of

That confirmed that he did not know, Now, I really want to know if she left him a message telling him she was pregnant or not. Did he listen to messages or not? If he did and she didn't leave one saying why he needed to contact her, then he can perhaps be forgiven. If she did leave one, then he is out of luck in my book. He can be a father to Amelia, but he does not deserve anything more from her.

I don't think I will ever be able to understand why Jasper left just like that. He deserves to be kicked in the ass for this. Anyway, great chapter. Can't wait to read more.

She has every right to be pissed. Did any of the messages she left him tell him about her being pregnant and needing him to come home? If there was one, there really is no excuse he could give that would earn forgiveness. Even not listening to the message would be a valid excuse. Just because he had to leave to work through problems on his own, he owed it to everyone he professed to love to at least listen to his messages in case there was a real emergency, such as her being pregnant or one of his loved ones being seriously injured or killed, that he needed to know about and be there for. On the other hand, if no one left such a message, then it could be considered to be ar person's own fault I'm really curious to find out if he did know about her being pregnant. Based on his reactions so far, I'm guessing he did not knot, but whether that is because he never listened to his messages or because she never left him one explaining why she needed him to contact her.
