This is such a beautiful, poetic piece! I love how you've characterized both Obito and Madara, and Obito's change in worldview was so haunting to see.

I really like the idea that they could've spent an eternity in their genjutsu, and I love the strange relationship Obito has with Madara. Obito knows Madara is just using him, but he accepts it, having been convinced by Madara's words and by what he's seen in the genjutsu- am I'm sure for many of us, if we had spent that long in a perfect utopia, reality would be hard-pressed to compare. But even so, Obito hesitates at the end, and that was a lovely touch.

I just really adore Obito and Madara, and their relationship isn't explored nearly as much as it should be. Excellent work on this story!

They lived in a world full of lies. Only to escape to a fake world where the lies cover the truth in nonexistent dreams.

Amazing piece! It really conveys that Madara is more than just a name. I loved the symbolism of the genjutsu world, the mirrors, the art of creation and the moon scene. The way Obito's perception of Madara progresses is done with perfect pacing and detail.
