Such a sweet yet sad fanfic. I can't say I'm surprised by the ending, but I had almost hoped that Steve would take Will and the dogs with him to New York. What DID surprised me however was how few reviews this fanfic have! I really enjoyed it and really wish there was more of it, so this will go straight to my favorites

This was a very impacting way to end this. At first, I was shocked when I read what you planned Steve to do, but after thinking about it, I quite like it. It would be interesting though if you wrote an epilogue about Steve finding out about Will's near-death experience at the end of season 2. *gives you a plate of cookies and a glass of milk* OUTSTANDING JOB!

You could write a short and dramatic epilogue about Steve finding out about the stuff that happened at the end of season 2, like Will almost dying and Hannibal trying to kill him, etc.

Love, love this story. I look forward to the continuation of it. Sometimes there are spelling errors, that can prove to be kind of distracting, but I like this story too much to care. The pairing is unexpected and different and made me stop shipping Hannibal and Will together. Well done! :P I feel that Steve and Will balance each other very well and hope there is a happy ending. I really like the pairing for whatever reason and I think you're story is doing an awesome job showing Will post-incarceration. I think the characterization makes sense for how they are changing each other and I really want Will to figure it out a bit. I hope Will can also find away to reconnect at least a bit with his old friends (i just really like the idea that Will and Katz could be such bros, okay?) :D I can't wait to read what happens next! I enjoyed the chapter. If Will and Steve seemed a little different I think it's only because they've had some influence on each other.
