I really loved how unique the setup/plot was. Your characterizations were really good, Haku and Zabuza were particularly well done. I enjoyed Zabuza and Sakura's rough student/teacher relationship. And Haku and Sakura's friendship/romance. Though, I was disappointed that Haku was killed off, I knew it was coming. I was hoping for a Haku/Saku ending, even though I knew chances were slim. You portrayed their romance so wonderfully, I just wanted more. It's rare to find a good Haku/Saku fic, but at least you had plenty of interactions between them. But still my heart mourns that their time together ended and Sakura ended up with Zabuza, which to be honest I wasn't a big fan of. Otherwise I enjoyed the fic a lot, it was a sad but fun ride. I look forward to reading more of your works, and hope you write some solid Haku/Saku, with a happy ending :)

Wow! This is the 1st time I've read a fic on this ship and I was riveted since Chapter 1. I love how you portray the characters esp the Sakura, Zabuza, and Haku dynamic. Kakashi is also spot on and one can really feel how deeply he cares for Sakura. I like the insights on shinobi life. Zabuza as a soft guy under the tough exterior. Also, the romance was slooow burn but worth it! Sad ending but I'm looking forward to reading the sequel.

This is third time I've finished this story, and I just wanted to let you know how much I adore it. The characterization, the plot...it's just fantastic! I love how raw and emotional it is, and how you don't stray away from the gritty stuff. The ending really pulled on my heart strings, but at time same time I feel like it couldn't have ended any other way. I enjoyed the sequel and all, but I missed having Zabuza and Haku around. What I wouldn't give to read about them reuniting during the war through the edo tensei, even though I understand that might not have been the best option. Thanks again for sharing this!

Wow. Totally shocked by how much I loved this pairing! There were some small errors to look past, but ove all a fantastic read! One of my favorites, and I’ve been reading a TON lately. Kudos!

I just wanted to say... this is one of my favorite fic. I did read this two years ago , but I did come back to it this year of 2018 and read few chapters to end. You had me on my seat and felt so much for sakura, zabusa and haku.. those raw emotions made me tear up. I almost wished that this fic wouldn't end.

My god this is so good! You really make me ship zabusaku so hard right now, I wish for more and a happy ending even though that seems impossible. On that note, you wrote that you'd write some zabusaku stories probably and I just can't wait to read them, even if they are only one-shots. Just please one with a somewhat happy ending?
