Springtrapeze chapter 16 . 9/12/2019 I'm glad I'm versed in the history of Hannibal's little maneuver at the Battle of Cannae. Immediately after the "Both flanks, FULL ATTACK!" line, I realized what Lucius was doing. |
Springtrapeze chapter 14 . 9/11/2019 300 Spartans, meet 300 Thracians. |
Springtrapeze chapter 8 . 9/10/2019 At first I thought it was Proculus that had this mindset, but now I see that Lucius is the one with it: The Lion does not concern himself with the opinions of the sheep. |
Springtrapeze chapter 2 . 9/10/2019 Okay, the end of this chapter left Me in stitches. |
Springtrapeze chapter 1 . 9/10/2019 One chapter down, and I already think that this is an awesome Historical Fiction. The Site REALLY needs to make Historical Fiction a choosable genre. This Battle of the Lucretian Bridge sounds like a reference to the Battle of Thermopylae. Only difference being in this case, the good guys won the battle. |
Valaista chapter 18 . 7/8/2019 Nice to see the brothers get back together. P.s I'm loving Vitus's honorable character |
Valaista chapter 9 . 7/7/2019 Lucius you fucking genocidal maniac! I hope Vitus gains the support of the army and fucking butchers Lucius |
Valaista chapter 8 . 7/7/2019 Damn Lucius is a dick... Vitus's future is very unclear. P.s I'm super interested to see what happened between Oroles and Lucius |
Valaista chapter 6 . 7/7/2019 Lovely to Vitus's mind and his interactions with the army. P.s lets see what will come of the Thracian hero (Savior of commander Vitus) |
Valaista chapter 4 . 7/7/2019 Lets see what will come of Proculus and Vitus. Atleast it's nice to see that Vitus can see through Proculus's bullsh#%. |
Guest chapter 44 . 4/5/2019 This story may be finished but this is truly a one of a kind. Good read. |
Greater Guest chapter 44 . 2/19/2018 That sequel is going to take a while, huh? Great story. The 10% must read fan-fic. The characters and the battles. You got a great story with the total war genre in depth in it. Loved reading it. |
Trainalf chapter 44 . 1/25/2018 Well, I finally just finished reading this and I just had to review it even though it's long completed. It was worth every second I put into it. It's an amazing story, not just as a fanfiction of the game, but as a piece of alternate historical fiction. So many good references and adaptions of the game content, but also a great capture of life during the real era that the games couldn't show. The characters were all great to know and it was a really great journey seeing them act and change with the world around them. The plot was the most amazing part though. It always kept me guessing and unsure. I will definitely say that I did not expect an ending like this when I first started reading, but you pulled it off so well I absolutely still love it. Thank you for writing this. It was a pure joy to read. |
WolfPrime567 chapter 42 . 7/21/2017 This is by far one of the greatest stories I have read, written by someone who FINALLY appreciates the first Rome Total War as much as I. And did you say...a sequel...?! There will be more?! YEEEEESSS! It would be interesting if you involved the other Roman factions. Like a gigantic battle of all the Roman factions against the Britons. so reading this has been incredible. I appreciate the work and effort it took you to make this story so much! |
Rook435 chapter 44 . 7/11/2017 Well it was a joy reading through the things, well I have not read it in a while actually but I can see you are now complete with this story. I will miss those updates of Romans fighting those barbarians. Well I am now curious what kind of Total War story you are going to do next. |
